Dr. Sun Yat Sen and Roundhouse Wedding: Kristy and Scott
Not one detail was overlooked at Kristy and Scott’s wedding- it was everything I dreamed of in a wedding for decor! Their ceremony was held at the peaceful Dr. Sun Yat Sen gardens, and the reception was at the Roundhouse Community Centre in Vancouver.
The Japanese/zen theme started off at the chinese gardens with paper fans and amazing flowers from Granville Island Florist, and continued throughout the evening with bamboo and lantern centrepieces, many games of rock, paper, scissors, Asahi beer, sushi, and Japanese treats. Harumi Suzuki did an amazing job pulling everything together with her wedding coordination!
Without further ado, here are a few images from throughout their amazing day!!
Some details of their wedding ceremony:

The ringbearers and flower girl were awesome– the younger, the better, as unpredictable processionals rock!!

We all piled into the limo and headed to Granville Island for some fun.

I *heart* corrugation!

Kristy was being nosy and checking out how reception decorations were coming along inside the Roundhouse (decorations by Studio 96)

Forget about the glass clanking! Kristy and Scott challenged guests to a rock, paper, scissors battle in order to kiss. Awesome idea!

First dance, beautifully done! (another one of our couples who checked out Candy for some dance lessons)

Congratulations Kristy and Scott! You two are a perfect couple, and we wish you the best!!!
ps- I’m wondering how many paper cranes were harmed in the making of this wedding?? : )

I admire people making sites because it is not always easy to come up with new photo ideas and information all the time. I am always looking for good inspiration and latest style and I just found your blog - thanks!
