Immaculate Conception Wedding: Athena and Rob

Athena and Rob were married at the beautiful Immaculate Conception in Delta, and their reception was held at the Punjab Banquet Hall in Surrey.  We arrived at Athena’s just in time for make up and dress- and what a dress it was!!

Immaculate Conception is a beautiful place with an amazing ceiling- I was very tempted to post both of these photos as giant verticals (like we often do), but I realize that not everyone has 30″ monitors like we do, so I’ll go easy on you today : )   But isn’t this an amazing place?

We headed to Bear Creek Park in Surrey for some shootin’ time, before going to the banquet hall for the wedding reception.

Athena and Rob had a really awesome first dance (it pays to practice!!!), and they did one last practice at Bear Creek Park, just before we left for the reception.

There was a lot of entertainment at the reception, including a lion dance.  Don’t worry, that’s not reception food on the floor- that’s the leftovers from the “eating of the green”, where the Chinese lions tear apart the lettuce that was offered to them by the couple.
