Many couples in Vancouver are looking for photobooth services for their wedding- we love our photobooth station because it’s a great way for guests to have fun and go crazy taking their own photos, and it’s a fun memento for everyone after the wedding. Our photobooth service allows your guests to log in and download their photos for free or order prints directly from the site. Here are just a few of the photos from the photobooth (aka: PartyPics) that we set up at Megan and Justin’s wedding. So much fun!

Awesome evening with an awesome couple! I really enjoyed working through these photos because it was clear to me how much they care about each other. We started off the session right with some delicious cupcakes that they brought along, and spent the evening enjoying Vancouver’s brisk early summer air along the coast. I love Vancouver!

Megan and Justin got married inside a school! And it was the coolest thing ever! GW Graham school, to be exact, was the location of their ceremony in Chilliwack. There were so many great photo locations in and around the school, we were in heaven. It was a terrific day, with so many nice people and nice places to shoot. Here are just a few from the big day:

And they brought along sweet little Mya too! I was excited when Angela and Ross arrived at Deer Lake Park with their daughter for their engagement session. It was so much fun! We took some photos with Mya before workin’ it with just Angela and Ross. We enjoyed our time in the rain and look forward to the big wedding in July!

I love weddings with a theme built in to them, and this vintage wedding was no exception! From Simone’s sweet vintage-style BCBG dress, to the typewriter guestbook, and the beautiful Aberthau mansion in which guests arrived via the Vancouver Trolley, Simone and Wes had a beautiful day planned out for everyone. The after party at Ginger 62 was a perfect way to party the night away! Shout out to all the Calgarians who rocked the house!!!

My sister was in Vancouver on a business trip from Prince George and she brought along her Korean homestay student, Hae-In. I played tourguide for two days, which included starting at Blood Alley and taking a stroll through our beautiful alleys. Love it!!!!

We had so much fun at this engagement session (another shoot at my fav spot: UBC as well as the Spanish Banks). Jess and Cam have the best sense of humor, I think I laughed out loud at a couple of these photos as I worked on them. Enjoy!

Whew… It was a close one for Miki and Eiji’s wedding- all signs indicated that it was going to be very rainy day, and we had no hopes for weather that would allow us to enjoy the grounds at Cecil Green Park. I could not believe it when we looked outside mid-afternoon and saw the sun! The day before the wedding, the staff at Cecil Green said that even if it wasn’t raining (which we all assumed it would), there would be no way the grounds would be dry enough to allow for a wedding ceremony out on the beautiful green grass. But it ended up being much nicer than anyone expected, and at the last minute the chairs were all moved down onto the grounds for the ceremony!

Everything was going perfectly, and got even better when Miki found out the good news. Winnie (also starring in Laura and Kevin’s wedding) was an awesome bridesmaid during prep, getting Miki hyped up and excited.

Every time a smiling-Miki photo came up while I was working on the photos, it made me smile too : )

Mark was out of town when I got the call from Jon about a month ago announcing his engagement to Sarah. I was so excited for them!!! They are dear friends of ours- Mark and Jon grew up together, and I first met Jon in high school. Jon and Sarah’s first date was actually at our place one night. But when I found out they are getting married this summer, my heart sank because I assumed we wouldn’t be able to attend their wedding. I held my breath on the phone and let Jon talk about the plans, and by some miracle, they chose to have their wedding on the last summer weekend we had open, and, they want us to be their wedding photographers! Yessss! We are so happy that we are going to be there for their wedding day.

Jon and Sarah’s engagement session brings us to Granville Island, on a typical rainy Vancouver evening. You can see progress in hair curliness as the night goes on : )

Lots of corrugated love during this photo session!!

In the middle of the shoot, I could tell that Jon was feeling quite goofy- though most of us know that’s pretty normal for Jon. So I asked him to let out all the goof he had bottled up for the last half hour. It took about three seconds before he accidentally hit his head, which I think ended up having a calming effect on him for the rest of the evening : )
