What a dynamic day for Jen and Rod’s wedding. It started off with threatening clouds and a traffic jam on the bridge (as well as Mark and I witnessing a car flip over off the road, me calling 911, and Mark and another passerby pulling two people out of an overturned van), but none of that mattered because it was as though someone flicked a switch when it came time for the wedding, and the blue skies came out and the roads cleared! Jen and Rod’s ceremony was held at Trinity United Church in Port Coquitlam and their reception was held at the elegant Swan-e-set bay resort.
Preps were fun and calm at both locations. I love the atmosphere before a wedding, and this was no exception.

One of my favorite things about photo editing after a wedding is that I get to see what was happening at both locations in the proper time sequence. The next two photos- the girls popping champagne in Pitt Meadows and the guys cheers-ing their beers in Coquitlam were both taken within a few minutes of each other. Cheers time!

Beautiful Jen, just about to leave for the ceremony:

LOTS of tears and sniffles at this one!

Rod is a firefighter, so we drove over to his fire station in Port Coquitlam for some photos.

Here they are waiting, and then making their grand entrance to the reception at Swan-e-set.

Lots of partying and good times! I’ll end off with this collage that pretty much sums up the fun everyone was having at the reception. Jen and Rod, you guys threw a rockin’ celebration! Congratulations!!!
