Surprise Wedding Proposal: Pej and Megan
April 10, 2009Oh what a day! I cannot believe how lucky I am to be a part of Pej’s surprise proposal to Megan. Months ago Anna, from Fairy Godmother Weddings, contacted me for a family session. We finally worked out a date for it to happen, and meanwhile Anna’s brother Pej did a little investigating to find out that I would be their photographer. He then contacted me to let me know of his secret plan. Other than the jeweler who he bought the ring from, I was the only one who knew this was going to happen!
Watch people’s faces in the beginning as they slowly realize what’s going on… Pej kneeled down on the grass to pretend he was picking up some garbage… until he turned around and asked Megan to come over to him…
“I like you, so I’m gonna put a ring on you” : )

It was oh so incredibly perfect, words cannot describe it. I am so happy I was there to document it! I went through all the photos on my laptop in a coffee shop this afternoon, and while selecting the photos I had to wear sunglasses the whole time so no one in the shop would notice when I kept tearing up.
And what a beauty of a family too!! : ) Congrats!
