Sakura Season

The cherry blossoms are on their way. I saw them everywhere in San Francisco, but this was our first sighting of Sakura blooming in Vancouver.

The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival runs from March 25-April 20, Sakura Day is April 3, and there’s even a mini photo workshop on photographing cherry blossom trees.

We had a gigantic dinner with our close friends to celebrate Chinese New Year. Mark and I are big fans of CNY, and tend to celebrate it more than the Jan 1 New Year. Even if you don’t enjoy the food, you can still enjoy Chinese New Year by using it as an excuse not to
