Engagement Session: Susan and Jason
August 26, 2010

So much energy coming from these two, it just pops right out of the photos! I can’t wait for their wedding day!

Just like “the little engine that could”, Trish and Rod’s shoot with me was like “the little session that could”. It all started long ago when they were getting married and emailed me about their wedding, but I was already booked on their date. sadness. But I did end up shooting Dorothy and Andrew’s wedding, where Trish was in the wedding party. A little while after the wedding, she scheduled an engagement style shoot with me (a.k.a. “lifestyle session” when you are already married) : ) We rescheduled this shoot more than any other session I’ve had due to sudden, freakish changes in the weather (severe changes!), and even had a shoot scheduled, with a depending-on-if-the-Canucks-continue-in-the-playoffs clause. The funniest was when there was supposed to be bad weather on the day of their session, so we rescheduled, and it ended up being absolutely beautiful on the day that we had postponed it. Ah well… luckily none of us gave up on each other, finally a day worked out, and VOILA! here’s a small preview!!:::

I had a children’s session there last year, and returned this year for more! These engagement photos were taken at the Skagit County Tulips Festival. Tulips rock : )

These two are getting married in China this summer!

These two are visiting from Edmonton and might move to Vancouver, AND might have their wedding here too!… it’s a no brainer to me! : )

Nicole and Lan are taking the leap!
