Very Newly Born Newborn Session

We got the call early this morning… and we didn’t answer it due to our unconscious state. We woke up a few hours later and checked our phone message, and then ran out the door when we found out that our close friend Keri (as seen a couple of months ago in her maternity session) had gone into labor down in Seattle!  So exciting!  She gave birth shortly after noon to a beautiful baby girl! Congratulations Keri, Tai, and Tenzin on your newest family member! It was exciting and fun photographing a 5-hour old in their hotel room : ) We kept the session short, but will be back for more in the coming months when we visit them again.

Leslie: lol : ) you are so correct about the torture! She's only 5 hours old and one of the first things she sees is a big black camera right in front of her face (apparently babies can only differentiate between black and white), along with us rolling her over into positions she doesn't want to be in, and folding her up into fetal position- what a way to be introduced to the world!! : ) She was a good sport though! you rock at html, and I fixed it for ya : )
