I’m a librarian (and amateur photographer) and I work at the Central Branch. Library Square is public space, and therefore you can shoot there as long as you like. Whatever security guard told you to move along was totally out of order.

I love your photo of Minoru Chapel! Figures Richmond does this AFTER we moved from there! I spent most of my life wondering about all of those different worship places!
