We are back in Vancouver now- what’s with the snow?? I flew home on the plane wearing shorts and with my fingers crossed, but obviously that counted for nothing because it’s still freezing here. We spent the second week of our trip in Southern California
We spent last week in Vegas for the gigantic annual photographer’s convention. It was a busy week, to say the least, but definitely worth the trip. We were able to meet and hear from many inspiring photographers, as well as check out the many companies we need to support our photography company. There were well over 10,000 photographers attending-
Sunday’s engagement session with Kristy and Scott was held in the historic area of Steveston- another great spot for a shoot in the Lower Mainland.
The cherry blossoms are on their way. I saw them everywhere in San Francisco, but this was our first sighting of Sakura blooming in Vancouver.
The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival runs from March 25-April 20, Sakura Day is April 3, and there’s even a mini photo workshop on photographing cherry blossom trees.
