Jen and Rod

Deer Lake Park was the chosen site for Jen and Rod’s engagement session. I admire this area because of its peaceful scenery sandwiched in the middle of a city.

San Diego, Mexico, and the Kaisers

We are back in Vancouver now- what’s with the snow?? I flew home on the plane wearing shorts and with my fingers crossed, but obviously that counted for nothing because it’s still freezing here. We spent the second week of our trip in Southern California

I’m officially JEALOUS!!!!! Kaiser envy…

gracci

i’m green… green with envy! can they not bring the shootshop here in Vancouver? :)

There were so many people from the westcoast (Seattle area) that they could definitely bring it up here and lots of people will come. I think family is their priority right now. but, for their san diego workshops, the fee is $200 lower for out of towners than it is for so-cal area attendees, so in a way, you save $200, which is a large portion of your flight price to san diego anyway :)

YAY!!!!

Love your post Leslie.(:

I might have to take that workshop again, afterwards I have a ton of questions already.

Do you have that photo of me and Jaclyn?

Viva My Vegas

We spent last week in Vegas for the gigantic annual photographer’s convention. It was a busy week, to say the least, but definitely worth the trip. We were able to meet and hear from many inspiring photographers, as well as check out the many companies we need to support our photography company. There were well over 10,000 photographers attending-

Kristy and Scott

Sunday’s engagement session with Kristy and Scott was held in the historic area of Steveston- another great spot for a shoot in the Lower Mainland.

Sakura Season

The cherry blossoms are on their way. I saw them everywhere in San Francisco, but this was our first sighting of Sakura blooming in Vancouver.

The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival runs from March 25-April 20, Sakura Day is April 3, and there’s even a mini photo workshop on photographing cherry blossom trees.

Those are beautiful! And now I know what your website name means!

I love cherry blossoms, we always had cherry blossoms on our street growing up! I loved it when the blossoms fell from the trees like pink rain!

I love Sakura! We didn’t have them in the Philippines but I remember seeing them for the first time in Japan in 1998! Glorious! I’m always excited to see them come around here in Vancouver in the Spring.

Have fun in Vegas! Don’t party too hard!

San Francisco

I just returned home from a 4 day trip to San Francisco. This is the second time in just over a month that I’ve been there, and while I normally turn up my nose, uninterested in North American destinations, there’s something about San Francisco that keeps me interested. It’s like Vancouver, but

Here’s to apple fritter breakfasts, walking many miles, and sunsets on the GG bridge!!!

I’m excited I made the cut for the blog post! I have yet to post my version as I’m wary of the massive time it will zap from me!
